What is tilt?
Emotional decisions after bad beats:
- Playing too aggressive after a loss
- «Revenge» calls with weak hands
- Overconfidence after a win — playing too many hands
Tilt warning signs
- Playing hands outside your chart
- Ignoring position
- Oversized pots
- Staying at a table when you should leave
Time to end the session.
Stay calm — rules
- Session limit — time or hand count (e.g. 2 hours)
- Stop-loss — max daily loss (e.g. 5% of roll)
- Break — 15 minutes after a bad beat
- Notes — log what triggered mistakes
